Tomorrow Same Time
03:56
|
|||
Pretty soon I’ll be the last one standing
Last one of the gang that’s still around
People came and went as always happens
But pretty soon now I will be the only one
Left in our hometown
Everyone left for different reasons
Some went off for work and some for love
Me I always stayed within the boundaries
Built my life and found all that I needed
On the grounds of our hometown
Remember all the times we drank
’Til morning light and singing birds
Ended yet another hazy night
We never even needed goodbyes
See you tomorrow same time
When you told me that you too were leaving
I don’t think you knew just what that meant
But ever since that moment I’ve been searching
And I can’t seem to find a single reason left
For me to stick around
Maybe this is what is meant to happen
Maybe it’s all part of some big plan
If so I’d like to know where this is leading
‘Cause lately I’ve been having trouble seeing
What is left of my hometown
But then my mind goes back to when
Loneliness was just a word
And there were certain things I didn’t doubt
These memories I don’t know what I’d do without
And remember all the times we drank
’Til morning light and singing birds
Ended yet another hazy night
We never even needed goodbyes
See you tomorrow same time

This Old House
03:42
|
|||
This old house it fought the cold
Fought the rain and fought the mold
It saw weeds and flowers grow
Took the winds that made the old trees fall
Built to be proud and to stand tall
To stand it’s ground and take it all
This old house it once was new
Oh how I wish you could have seen it
Yeah I know that there are pictures
But these pictures and my memory don’t match
Now the foundation’s almost gone
And I’m scared of the next storm
Can you promise me you’ll take care when I’m gone
And when I get to weak to fight will you make sure I’m alright
And if the downfall’s really slow, don’t make it last too long
‘Cause this house deserves to be remembered as it was before
This old house it fought the cold
Fought the rain and fought the mold

Flower Souls
03:42
|
|||
My soul, in the wind
Floating free like flower seeds before the rain
Where it goes, wait and see
My heart, memories
Little movies only made for me to see
If I could share them all with you I think I would
But I’m a flower and I can’t give up my roots
Our hearts, you and me
Will grow ever closer but we’ll never reach
But if the wind grabs mine I hope it takes yours too
My heart holds a place for you
And it’s all that I can do
It’s all that I can do
If I could give it all to you I think I would
But I’m a flower and I can’t give up my roots
And so are you

Lullaby #2
02:42
|
|||
Now lay your head to rest
This day has ended
You’ve done all you could do
Time to surrender
Let go all of your thoughts
Let go all anger
It’s time to free yourself
Time to surrender
They’ve put you to the test
You ran, you fended
Took all they put you through
Time to surrender
Your mind is weary now
One way to mend it
Don’t fight, or wonder how
Time to surrender
